The Devil, Heaven and Hell…

Hell is real, and so is heaven.
They’re both right here on earth…. Right now.
I don’t believe in them in a literal or religious way.

For me they’re just strong metaphors of the type of life you
will create for yourself if you focus more on one force than the other.

I see Satan as a symbol for everything that can poison our state of
mind and slow us down or stop us from doing the things that will
make us experience true freedom and happiness out of life.

It’s the voice that tells you to skip today’s workout, stay in bed,
avoid a difficult conversation or give in to harmful temptations.

Satan is the resistance that tries to stop us from doing positive things
for ourselves, big or small. Whether it’s cleaning your place or
moving your ass to make sure you’re not late for that first
date or consultation with a new client.

It’s a constant battle. And even though it’s ok to choose the
short term pleasure occasionally (IMO), If you let that voice
win too often, it becomes a habit and eventually takes over you life.

As we all know- habits are a real bitch to break.

By succumbing to this natural desire, we can become lazy,
apathetic, self-indulgent and feel entitled to everything despite
total ignorance of the universal laws and lack of effort.

Push this even further and we become vulnerable to
sinister cycles of addiction, shame, anxiety and depression.

We all know how easy it is to fall into financial debt.
But mental or spiritual debts are even more insidious.

Once we make a habit out of focusing on the short term
and believe this to be the normal way to live, it’s very hard to
change those habits and beliefs. This is when our lives
can start feeling like hell.

There’s always hope though. No matter how hard it is to break habits,
it’s far from impossible. All it takes is a strong desire, and a powerful WHY.

What is biggest motivator for you to choose the
road less traveled instead of the easy one?

We all have different past experiences, backgrounds,
needs, family circumstances, etc… The most important part of
success in self-transformation and attaining your biggest goals
is to know precisely WHY you want to do this, because this
will fuel you during the inevitable storms along the way.

To end my heaven and hell metaphor on a positive note…
If we want to experience happy, positive lives of abundance,
mental clarity and increase our capacity to help ourselves
and others, it’s a good idea to make a habit out of paying the price.

In the long term, your life will feel more like heaven if you get used
to slaying the devil daily. Push through those hard moments,
no matter how small they may be. It’s a bit like going to the gym,
if you get used to ignoring the lazy inner voice, it becomes more faint.
And you become more powerful, little by little.

Resistance is there to weed out the ones who don’t want it badly.
It’s not a pleasant feeling to push against it, but it’s necessary.

Giving up right away and choosing the easier route will only lead
to more resistance down the road. It could be in 1, 5, 10 or 15 years,
but the devil will come to collect somewhere down the line.
And that debt will be far worse than anything we can imagine now.

Never give up. Never, ever give up!
